Alpha Futures

Harpenden, England, UK (registered office of Alpha Futures Limited); Alpha Prime trading floor in London · Founded 2023 · alpha-futures.com

Rules verified against Alpha Futures's own site on Sep 23, 2026

UK-based, one-step futures evaluation firm (part of Alpha Group with Alpha Capital Group) selling three monthly-subscription evaluations (Zero, Standard, Advanced) plus a one-time-fee straight-to-funded Direct account. All accounts use an end-of-day trailing Maximum Loss Limit that stops at the starting balance, pay a 90% split, and allow up to 4 withdrawals a month after 5 winning days of $200+. Since July 2026 it runs on its own AlphaTrader platform plus TradingView (via Plus500), WealthCharts, Deepchart and Quantower; NinjaTrader and Tradovate are no longer offered.

Good fit if
You trade by hand on TradingView, WealthCharts, Quantower, or Alpha's own platform and want an end-of-day drawdown on every plan, a 90% split, and no activation fee.
Look elsewhere if
You use NinjaTrader or Tradovate (dropped in July 2026) or any automation: bots, AI, and hands-off trading are banned on every account.

What works

  • End-of-day trailing drawdown on every account that stops at the starting balance and does not reset when you withdraw.
  • Advanced Qualified accounts allow withdrawals up to $15,000 per request with no consistency rule, no Daily Loss Guard and no news restriction.
  • No activation fee on any current plan (Advanced fee dropped July 2026).
  • Zero evaluation has no consistency rule and a 1-day minimum; Zero 25K costs $89/month.
  • Daily Loss Guard, where it applies, is soft: it pauses the day instead of failing the account.
  • Defined path to live capital with an Alpha Prime option that includes a salary.

What to watch

  • No NinjaTrader or Tradovate support since July 2026; platform choice is locked at purchase.
  • Bots, AI and full automation are banned on every account type.
  • Withdrawals limited to 50% of profit per request, with low caps on Zero ($1,000 to $2,500).
  • Zero, Standard and Direct Qualified accounts have a 2-minute no-order window around red-folder news and a 40% (or 20% on Direct) consistency rule between payouts.
  • Advanced drawdown is tight relative to target ($1,750 MLL vs $4,000 target on 50K) and limits you to 3 Qualified accounts.
  • Only one trader per household may use the service; moving live closes all Qualified accounts.

Programs and prices

List prices as shown on Alpha Futures's site on Sep 23, 2026. Firms discount constantly, so the price you pay is often lower. The rules are what matter: they are the same at any price. The drawdown shown is for the stage you buy (the evaluation, or the funded account on straight-to-funded plans); where the funded stage locks or moves differently, the drawdown detail under each table says so.

Zero

Evaluation 1-step Monthly subscription

Cheapest line with no evaluation consistency rule (1-day pass possible) and $0 activation, but a soft Daily Loss Guard in both phases and the lowest withdrawal caps.

Account Price Profit target Max loss Drawdown Daily loss Min days Max size Activation Reset
25K $89/mo $1,500 $1,000 EOD trailing, locks $500 (soft) 1 day 1 mini / 10 micros $0 $79
50K $139/mo $3,000 $2,000 EOD trailing, locks $1,000 (soft) 1 day 3 minis / 30 micros $0 $119
100K $279/mo $6,000 $3,000 EOD trailing, locks $2,000 (soft) 1 day 6 minis / 60 micros $0 $249
  • Consistency: None
  • Daily Loss Guard is 2% of starting balance in evaluation and Qualified; hitting it flattens positions and locks the account until 6 PM ET. Qualified: 40% consistency between withdrawal requests, scaling plan on 50K and 100K (e.g. 50K starts at 1 mini under $1,500 profit), 2-minute no-order window around red-folder news, withdrawals $200 min and $1,000 / $1,500 / $2,500 max. Qualified Reset available (up to 2 per account if it never reached a payout request, within 7 days of breach): $399 / $499 / $799.
Drawdown detail by account size
  • 25K Trails end-of-day balance highs; stops at the $25,000 starting balance. Breaching intraday (open or closed) liquidates.

Funded stage and payouts

What funded means here
Qualified Account (simulated; payouts are called performance fees). Traders can be called to live capital through the Alpha Futures Live Program or the Alpha Prime program.
Profit split
90/10 from the first withdrawal on all current plans. Live Program 80/20; Alpha Prime 60/40 plus a 12-month salary.
How often you can withdraw
Up to 4 times per month; Zero, Standard and Advanced after every 5 winning days of $200+ (non-consecutive). Direct after hitting its per-cycle profit target and 20% consistency. Requests processed in 48 business hours or less per site FAQ.
Minimum payout
Zero $200; Standard and Direct $500; Advanced $1,000.
Payout cap
Up to 50% of account profit per request (Zero, Standard, Advanced), capped at Zero $1,000 / $1,500 / $2,500; Standard $3,000 / $4,000 / $5,000; Advanced $15,000 all sizes; Direct $1,000 / $2,000 / $2,500 / $3,000. No cap once live.
What you must do first
5 winning days of $200+ between requests; 40% consistency between requests on Zero and Standard Qualified; 20% on Direct; none on Advanced. MLL does not move to the starting balance after a withdrawal.
Path to a live account
Reviewed or called to live after 5 performance fees on one Qualified account, large lifetime performance fees, outstanding performance, or prior live status (site FAQ also cites +$40,000 payable balance). All Qualified accounts close on the move; each account with at least one payout becomes a live account starting at $0 with an EOD drawdown ($1,000 / $2,000 / $3,000 / $4,500 by size), reduced contracts until the MLL reaches $0, daily uncapped withdrawals and a scaling DLL of 30% of the account. Choose Live Program (80% split, forfeit Qualified sim profits) or Alpha Prime (60% split plus salary from 50% of sim profits, max $75,000, over 12 months). Declining live ends the relationship with Alpha Group. Losing a live account triggers a cooldown of up to 3 months.
Ongoing fees
No monthly fee once Qualified and no activation fee on any current plan (Advanced accounts bought on or before July 8, 2026 owe $149). Qualified Resets optional on Zero and Standard.

Trading rules that end accounts

Automation

Not allowed

Bots, AI and fully automated or hands-off trading are banned on all account types, evaluation and Qualified. Semi-automation (e.g. an indicator giving signals) is allowed only if the trader manually places, monitors and manages each trade. HFT-style strategies, particularly over 100 trades a day, are restricted.

"The use of AI, bots, and other automated trading mechanisms is strictly prohibited across all account types." Source

Trade copiers

Allowed, with limits

Copying is allowed only when a single person executes the trades across accounts in their own name (help center). The Terms and Conditions word it more narrowly: the only copy trading allowed is from your own external account into your Alpha account, and copying other analysts' trades leads to termination. Group trading (coordinating identical or opposite trades with others), reverse trading/hedging across accounts, and automated copying are prohibited.

"Copy trading in general is permitted as long as it is a single user executing the trades" Source
Account limit
No limit on evaluation (Analyst) accounts per the Terms. Qualified: 5 per household overall; by plan Zero 5, Standard 5 (3 for Standard accounts opened before July 27, 2026), Direct 5, Advanced 3, and anyone with an active Advanced Qualified account is capped at 3. Only one username per individual and one individual per household.
News trading
No restrictions on any evaluation or on Advanced Qualified accounts. Zero, Standard and Direct Qualified: may hold through news but no orders may be executed from 2 minutes before to 2 minutes after red-folder (high-impact) ForexFactory events for the traded asset, including the start of red-folder speeches. First violation is a warning with the trade's profit voided and payout denied; repeat violations breach the account.
Overnight and weekends
No overnight or weekend holds on evaluation or Qualified accounts: all trades must be closed before 4:20 PM ET and are auto-closed otherwise. Trading day runs 6 PM to 5 PM ET. Live accounts may hold overnight.
Other rules
  • Hedging / reverse trading across accounts, or long NQ with short MNQ in one account, is prohibited in evaluation and Qualified.
  • Tick or micro scalping (trades under 10 ticks AND under 2 minutes as a clear profit pattern), order-book spamming, max-size 'all or nothing' bets using the DLG as a stop, and account rolling/stacking are prohibited.
  • No trading when a product is within 2% of a CME price limit (all accounts).
  • VPS allowed; VPNs that hide or change your IP are not.
  • Must trade at least once every 10 trading days to keep an account active.
  • Restricted countries (citizens or residents, and even when traveling) include China, Malaysia, Philippines, Vietnam, Pakistan, Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Turkey, Romania, Croatia, Slovenia, Bulgaria, Nigeria, Kenya and others.
  • Payouts via ACH, wire, SWIFT, Wise or Rise; evaluations can be bought with crypto via CoinPayments.

Alpha Futures FAQ

Does Alpha Futures allow trade copiers?
Allowed, with limits.
Can you use automated trading or bots at Alpha Futures?
Not allowed.
What drawdown does Alpha Futures use?
End-of-day trailing, locks: The floor moves up only when a session closes at a new high balance. Open profit during the day does not drag it up. Once the floor reaches the starting balance (at some firms, plus a small buffer), it stops rising and stays there.
