Terms of Use

Last updated September 24, 2026

The short version. This site explains prop firm rules for free. It isn't advice, firms change their rules without telling us, and the firm's own terms are the ones that count. The site is published by the company that makes CrossTrade, and we say so wherever CrossTrade comes up.

1. Who these terms are with

propfirmbreakdown.com ("Prop Firm Breakdown", "we", "us") is owned and operated by CrossTrade LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company. By using the site you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use it. The site is intended for adults; you must be at least 18 to use it.

2. Information, not advice

Everything here is general information about prop trading firms and their published rules. It is not financial, investment, trading, legal, or tax advice, and it is not a recommendation to buy any evaluation, account, or product, or to make any trade. We don't know your finances, experience, or goals, and nothing here takes them into account.

CrossTrade LLC is not a broker, futures commission merchant, introducing broker, commodity trading advisor, or investment adviser, and is not registered with the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC), the National Futures Association (NFA), or the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) in any capacity.

3. Trading risk

Futures trading carries substantial risk of loss and is not suitable for everyone. You can lose more than you put in. Prop firm evaluations are paid products: the fee is spent whether or not you pass, and passing does not guarantee a payout. Most evaluation and funded accounts are simulated, and the firm's own terms decide what you're paid and when.

Worked examples on this site, including sample account balances, drawdown floors, and monitor settings, are arithmetic illustrations of how a rule works. They are not trading results, hypothetical or otherwise, and they don't predict how any trader or strategy will perform. Past performance is not necessarily indicative of future results.

4. How current the information is

We compile firm rules and prices from each firm's own public pages and show the date we checked them. Firms change their rules, prices, and policies often, sometimes without notice, and a firm may apply a rule differently from how it publishes it. We don't guarantee that anything here is accurate, complete, or current. Always confirm the terms directly with the firm before you pay or trade. If you find an error, tell us at support@propfirmbreakdown.com and we'll correct it.

5. Prop firms and other third parties

The prop firms, brokers, and platforms named on this site are independent companies. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or paid by any of them, and we don't use affiliate links or prop firm discount codes. Their names and trademarks, including NinjaTrader, Tradovate, TradingView, and Rithmic, belong to their owners and are used here only to identify them. Links to their sites are for reference; we don't control those sites and aren't responsible for their content or practices.

6. Our relationship with CrossTrade

Prop Firm Breakdown is published by the team behind CrossTrade. No prop firm pays us, and we use no affiliate links or prop firm discount codes. CrossTrade is a product of CrossTrade LLC. The CrossTrade pages on this site note that relationship.

Your use of CrossTrade itself is governed by CrossTrade's Terms of Service and Trading Disclaimer, not by these terms. Those terms say CrossTrade is designed for traders using their own capital, and that anyone who connects a prop firm account does so at their own risk and must have the firm's permission first. Nothing on this site changes that. When we describe which firms' published rules leave room for a tool, we are summarizing the firm's public policy, not granting permission, and not promising that the firm will accept any particular setup.

7. Using our content

The text, tables, and design of this site belong to CrossTrade LLC. You may read, share links to, and quote short excerpts with a link back to the page. Please don't republish substantial parts of the site, present it as your own, or copy it in bulk by automated means.

8. No warranties

The site is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, and we don't promise the site will always be available or free of errors.

9. Limits on our liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, CrossTrade LLC and its members, employees, and contractors are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of this site or reliance on its content, including trading losses, evaluation fees, failed evaluations, closed or forfeited accounts, and lost profits, whether direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential. Because the site is free, if any liability can't be excluded, it is limited to one hundred US dollars ($100). Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute about them or the site will be heard in the state or federal courts located in Wyoming, and you agree to those courts' jurisdiction. Before filing anything, please email us; most problems here are a correction away from solved.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page shows the latest version, and the version posted here is the one that applies. Using the site after a change means you accept it.

12. The rest

If part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest still applies. Not enforcing a term right away doesn't waive it. These terms and our Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and us about this site.
