Elite Trader Funding (ETF) sells six futures product lines: four monthly-subscription evaluations (1 Step, End of Day, Static, Diamond Hands), a one-time-fee 10K Fast Track, and one-time Direct to Funded accounts that skip the evaluation. Passing traders get an Elite Sim-Funded account that pays up to 100% of simulated profit in capped cycles, but it carries its own $87/month (or one-time) activation fee, and cumulative sim payouts are capped at $25,000 per trader. After that, or after 5 payouts or 50 active trade days, traders move to LIVE ELITE, a real-capital account at an 80/20 split with daily withdrawals. Diamond Hands is the only evaluation that may hold overnight and over weekends.

Good fit if
You trade by hand and want to hold overnight or over the weekend (Diamond Hands, Direct to Funded), or want a static-drawdown plan with no daily loss limit.
Look elsewhere if
You automate, or copy with a tool that isn't on ETF's approved list, or you don't want another fee after passing: funded activation runs $87 a month or $177 to $307 once.

What works

  • Six product lines from a $57 one-time 10K Fast Track to a 150K 1 Step, including a no-evaluation Direct to Funded option.
  • Diamond Hands and Direct to Funded allow overnight and weekend holds, which most futures prop firms do not.
  • Static Drawdown and 1 Step plans have no daily loss limit.
  • Up to 100% of simulated profits in Elite Sim-Funded, and a defined path to LIVE ELITE real capital (80/20, daily withdrawals, no cap).
  • News trading is unrestricted during evaluations.

What to watch

  • Automated trading, bots and algos are banned without written authorization; only a short list of approved trade copiers is allowed.
  • Passing is not the last fee: Elite Sim-Funded activation costs $87/month or $177 to $307 one-time.
  • Sim rewards are capped per cycle (e.g. $1,250 in cycle 1 on a 50K EOD) and at $25,000 cumulative per trader.
  • Every payout day must clear $200 realized profit and 23% of the best day; 8 to 10 such days per cycle.
  • Funded accounts must be flat 5 minutes either side of major news, and every trade must last at least 10 seconds.
  • Rithmic users pay an extra $45/month per account; LIVE ELITE traders pay $197/month per exchange for data for the first 3 months.

Programs and prices

List prices as shown on Elite Trader Funding's site on Sep 23, 2026. Firms discount constantly, so the price you pay is often lower. The rules are what matter: they are the same at any price. The drawdown shown is for the stage you buy (the evaluation, or the funded account on straight-to-funded plans); where the funded stage locks or moves differently, the drawdown detail under each table says so.

Funded stage and payouts

What funded means here
Elite Sim-Funded (simulated account that pays real rewards) then LIVE ELITE (ETF's own capital in a live broker account).
Profit split
Elite Sim-Funded: up to 100% of simulated profit, capped at $25,000 in cumulative rewards per trader. LIVE ELITE: 80/20 in the trader's favor, uncapped.
How often you can withdraw
Elite Sim-Funded: once per cycle after the required Active Trade Days (8 in cycle 1, 10 after on standard plans; 5 to 20 on DTF). Rewards approved daily Mon-Fri from 3 pm ET and paid in Monday and Wednesday batches via Rise. LIVE ELITE: daily on business days (requests before 1 pm ET prioritized same day).
Minimum payout
$100 per cycle on most plans ($250 on 1-Step accounts bought from July 28, 2026; $500 or $1,000 on DTF). LIVE ELITE: $250.
Payout cap
Per-cycle maximums by plan, size and cycle (e.g. 50K End of Day: $1,250 / $1,500 / $1,750 / $2,000). $25,000 cumulative sim rewards per trader, then LIVE ELITE (the Elite page also cites a $150,000 lifetime sim cap across re-entries).
What you must do first
Safety net: realized profit must reach the max drawdown + $100 before rewards. Each ATD needs $200+ realized profit ($100 on 10K/25K) and at least 23% of the best ATD. Loss limit rule: once an account is up 20%, giving back more than 35% of accumulated profit removes it. At least one trade per week and a login every 30 days. Fast Track needs 30% consistency at reward. Must reach a cycle's maximum to advance to the next cycle.
Path to a live account
Move to LIVE ELITE on any one of: 5 rewards, 50 Active Trade Days, or $25,000 cumulative rewards (ETF may also move traders earlier at its discretion). Requires a background check and 34 CME rules lessons. Starting live balance: $1,250 (50K or below), $1,500 (100K or 50K DTF), $2,000 (150K+), $2,500 (100K DTF). EOD drawdown, no fixed daily loss limit; 20% session loss triggers flattening; 7 days of inactivity closes the account.
Ongoing fees
Elite Sim-Funded activation: $87/month, or one-time $177 (most 50K and below and Static), $247 (1-Step 100K/150K), $257 (EOD 100K), $307 (Diamond Hands); 'Double Down Deal' add-on $47. Fast Track: first month free then $87/month. DTF: none. Professional data $128/exchange. Rithmic connection $45/month per account. LIVE ELITE: market data $197/month per exchange and EdgeProX $34.99/month (both covered by ETF after 3 months of genuine trading), commissions $2.00 per mini and $0.62 per micro, $5 per contract auto-liquidation fee.

Trading rules that end accounts

Automation

Not allowed

AI, bots, EAs, algorithmic and other automated trading are banned unless ETF authorizes them in writing, in evaluation and funded alike. The only automated tools currently authorized are the approved trade copiers. Violations found at reward audit can reset the account and forfeit profits; repeat violations mean a permanent ban. HFT is prohibited and every trade must last at least 10 seconds.

Trade copiers

Allowed, with limits

Allowed only with approved copiers (since October 14, 2025): Tradesyncer, Tradecopia, Affordable Indicators Duplicate Account Actions, Replikanto Flowbot PropFirm Compliance Edition, or a platform's built-in copier (e.g. Tradovate group trading, MotiveWave, Quantower). Trading for another user (same household or remote), letting a third party trade your account, coordinating strategies with other traders, and hedging across your own accounts (including correlated pairs such as NQ/MNQ) are prohibited, so copying is effectively limited to your own ETF accounts.

Account limit
Maximum 5 active Elite Sim-Funded accounts for evaluations bought on or after September 17, 2025 (older purchases grandfathered up to 20, max 5 from Fast Track). Fast Track and Direct to Funded are each limited to 5 active accounts per user. No published cap on standard evaluation accounts; the Terms let ETF change limits at any time. One registered ETF account per person.
News trading
Evaluations: no restriction. Elite (funded) accounts: the Terms of Service (effective July 13, 2026) require being flat from 5 minutes before to 5 minutes after the major events on ETF's list. An older help article still says ETF imposes no news restrictions; the Terms are newer.
Overnight and weekends
All plans except Diamond Hands and Direct to Funded must be flat one minute before the market close; Diamond Hands and DTF may hold through the close and weekends. Traders are liable for any margin or financing costs of positions carried outside a normal session.
Other rules
  • Minimum trade duration of 10 seconds with no exceptions; HFT and abusive high-volume strategies prohibited.
  • Martingale, dollar-cost averaging and other loss-chasing or exposure-escalating strategies are prohibited.
  • Hedging against yourself in the same or correlated instruments, on one or several accounts, is prohibited.
  • Must trade the current highest-volume contract; low-liquidity contracts are prohibited.

Elite Trader Funding FAQ

Does Elite Trader Funding allow trade copiers?
Allowed, with limits.
Can you use automated trading or bots at Elite Trader Funding?
Not allowed.
What drawdown does Elite Trader Funding use?
Static: The loss floor is set on day one and never moves, no matter how much you make. End-of-day trailing, locks: The floor moves up only when a session closes at a new high balance. Open profit during the day does not drag it up. Once the floor reaches the starting balance (at some firms, plus a small buffer), it stops rising and stays there. End-of-day trailing: The floor moves up only when a session closes at a new high balance. Open profit during the day does not drag it up. Intraday trailing: The floor follows your highest equity in real time, open profit included, so giving back an open gain tightens it. The type depends on which program you buy.
