Rules verified against FTMO Futures's own site on Sep 24, 2026

FTMO Futures is the futures arm of Prague-based FTMO, launched in September 2026, with two single-phase Evaluations (Growth and Pro) in 50K, 100K and 150K sizes, billed as a monthly subscription that stops once you pass. Passing leads to a Sim-Funded account with an end-of-day trailing drawdown that locks at the starting balance and a 90/10 payout split, and a Live Funded account is offered by invitation only. Trading runs on NinjaTrader, Tradovate and TradingView with live CME data, and every position must be flat by 4:10 PM ET each day.

Good fit if
You want an end-of-day floor that locks at the starting balance, no activation fee, NinjaTrader, Tradovate, and TradingView under one login, and permission to run your own automated strategy.
Look elsewhere if
You want more than 3 funded accounts at once, hold overnight (everything is flat by 4:10 PM ET), or prefer a one-time fee to a monthly subscription.

What works

  • No activation fee, and the monthly subscription ends as soon as you pass.
  • End-of-day trailing drawdown that locks at the starting balance in both the Evaluation and the Sim-Funded account.
  • 90/10 payout split from the first payout, with no consistency rule on the Sim-Funded account.
  • Growth has no daily loss limit in the Evaluation and only a soft one (pauses the day) once funded.
  • NinjaTrader, Tradovate, and TradingView under one login, with automated trading and copying between your own accounts allowed.
  • News trading allowed in every phase.

What to watch

  • Monthly subscription instead of a one-time fee; a failed Evaluation waits for the next billing date unless you pay a $109 to $259 reset.
  • No overnight or weekend holding: everything is flattened at 4:10 PM ET daily.
  • Only 3 Sim-Funded accounts at a time, shared across Growth and Pro.
  • Each payout needs 4 (Growth) or 5 (Pro) qualifying days at a daily profit minimum of $150 to $500, and Growth pays out at most 50% of profit per request.
  • Pro has a hard daily loss limit in both phases; a breach on the Sim-Funded account closes it for good.
  • A new product: FTMO Futures launched in September 2026, so there is little payout history yet.

Programs and prices

List prices as shown on FTMO Futures's site on Sep 24, 2026. Firms discount constantly, so the price you pay is often lower. The rules are what matter: they are the same at any price. The drawdown shown is for the stage you buy (the evaluation, or the funded account on straight-to-funded plans); where the funded stage locks or moves differently, the drawdown detail under each table says so.

FTMO Futures Growth

Evaluation 1-step Monthly subscription

Lower-priced monthly Evaluation with no daily loss limit and a 40% consistency rule; funded payouts of up to 50% of profit per request.

Account Price Profit target Max loss Drawdown Daily loss Min days Max size Activation Reset
50K $119/mo Per month until you pass or cancel; billing stops when the Evaluation is passed. $3,000 $2,000 EOD trailing, locks None 3 days 5 minis / 50 micros $0 $109
100K $169/mo Per month until you pass or cancel; billing stops when the Evaluation is passed. $6,000 $3,500 EOD trailing, locks None 3 days 10 minis / 100 micros $0 $159
150K $229/mo Per month until you pass or cancel; billing stops when the Evaluation is passed. $9,000 $5,000 EOD trailing, locks None 3 days 15 minis / 150 micros $0 $219
  • Consistency: Best day at most 40% of total Evaluation profit. Going over is not a breach; you keep trading until it falls to 40%.
  • Single-phase Evaluation with no time limit and no stated minimum-day rule, but FTMO says the 40% consistency rule makes 3 trading days the fastest possible pass. A breached Evaluation gets a fresh account on the next billing date, or you can buy a reset right away (unlimited resets; a reset does not change the billing date). After passing and completing ID verification, the Sim-Funded account keeps the same drawdown (locking at the starting balance), adds a soft daily loss limit of $1,000 / $2,000 / $3,000 for 50K / 100K / 150K (open positions close and trading pauses for the rest of the day, but the account stays open), and starts at 2 / 4 / 6 contracts, scaling up to 5 / 10 / 15 as end-of-day profit grows. Payouts: 4 qualifying days of at least $150 / $250 / $300 each, up to 50% of profit above the starting balance per request, capped at $2,500 / $3,000 / $4,000.
Drawdown detail by account size
  • 50K Floor trails the highest end-of-day balance and locks at the $50,000 starting balance; account equity, including open trades, may not touch it at any time.
  • 100K Floor trails the highest end-of-day balance and locks at the $100,000 starting balance; account equity, including open trades, may not touch it at any time.
  • 150K Floor trails the highest end-of-day balance and locks at the $150,000 starting balance; account equity, including open trades, may not touch it at any time.

FTMO Futures Pro

Evaluation 1-step Monthly subscription

Higher-priced monthly Evaluation with a hard daily loss limit and a wider drawdown; funded payouts of up to 100% of profit per request with higher caps.

50K $139/mo Per month until you pass or cancel; billing stops when the Evaluation is passed. $3,000 $3,000 EOD trailing, locks $1,000 2 days 5 minis / 50 micros $0 $129
100K $199/mo Per month until you pass or cancel; billing stops when the Evaluation is passed. $6,000 $4,500 EOD trailing, locks $1,500 2 days 10 minis / 100 micros $0 $189
150K $269/mo Per month until you pass or cancel; billing stops when the Evaluation is passed. $9,000 $6,000 EOD trailing, locks $2,000 2 days 15 minis / 150 micros $0 $259
  • Consistency: Best day at most 50% of total Evaluation profit. Going over is not a breach; you keep trading until it falls to 50%.
  • Single-phase Evaluation with no time limit and no stated minimum-day rule, but FTMO says the 50% consistency rule makes 2 trading days the fastest possible pass. The daily loss limit is measured from each day's starting balance and fails the Evaluation if hit. A breached Evaluation gets a fresh account on the next billing date, or you can buy a reset right away. On the Sim-Funded account the drawdown and the hard daily loss limit ($1,000 / $1,500 / $2,000) stay in place, and a daily loss breach closes the account permanently. Contracts start at 2 / 4 / 6 and scale up to 5 / 10 / 15 with profit. Payouts: 5 qualifying days of at least $200 / $300 / $500 each, up to 100% of profit above the starting balance per request, capped at $5,000 / $6,000 / $8,000. FTMO warns that requesting a full withdrawal on a Pro Sim-Funded account can breach the Max Drawdown.

  • 100K Floor trails the highest end-of-day balance and locks at the $100,000 starting balance; account equity, including open trades, may not touch it at any time.

Funded stage and payouts

What funded means here
Sim-Funded account (simulated capital, same size as the Evaluation) after ID verification and signing the Sim-Funded terms, which FTMO says typically follows a 1 to 3 business day review. A Live Funded account backed by FTMO capital is offered by invitation only.
Profit split
90/10 in the trader's favor on Sim-Funded and Live Funded accounts.
How often you can withdraw
Once per payout cycle: Growth after 4 qualifying days, Pro after 5 (FTMO lists this as every 4 days and every 5 days). Live Funded accounts can request payouts daily once a one-time buffer is cleared.
Minimum payout
$20
Payout cap
Per request on Sim-Funded: Growth $2,500 / $3,000 / $4,000 and Pro $5,000 / $6,000 / $8,000 for 50K / 100K / 150K. Growth can withdraw up to 50% of profit above the starting balance per request, Pro up to 100%. No payout cap on Live Funded accounts.
What you must do first
Each cycle needs qualifying days with closed profit at or above a daily minimum: Growth 4 days at $150 / $250 / $300, Pro 5 days at $200 / $300 / $500 (50K / 100K / 150K). At least 50% of each request must be new profit from the current cycle. Confirming a request closes all open positions and orders, and the amount comes off the account balance. Paid in USD by Wise, Revolut bank wire, Visa Direct or Mastercard Send (Mastercard Send not for US clients). US residents need a W-9 and a US bank account at a licensed bank; fintech accounts such as Wise or Chime are not accepted.
Path to a live account
Not something you apply for: FTMO's Trading Department decides who moves up after reviewing Sim-Funded trading. On a Live Funded account the Max Drawdown is the only remaining objective; you clear a one-time buffer before the first payout, then can withdraw profit above the buffer daily with no cap at 90/10. Residents of some countries (including Bulgaria, Croatia, Nigeria, Pakistan, the Philippines, South Africa and Turkey) can use Sim-Funded accounts but cannot get a Live Funded account.
Ongoing fees
No activation fee, and no charges once the Evaluation is passed. Commissions of $0.50 per side (minis) or $0.20 per side (micros) plus exchange and NFA fees apply to trades. Live Funded accounts pay a market data fee, with FTMO covering one exchange.

Trading rules that end accounts

Automation

Allowed, with limits

Automated and algorithmic trading is allowed, including NinjaScript strategies. High-frequency trading, latency arbitrage and systems that exploit the simulated environment are banned, and you are responsible for any errors your automation makes. FTMO warns that a third-party bot other traders also run may cost you the Sim-Funded account, since it requires a unique strategy. The platform servers limit how many orders you can send per time period.

Trade copiers

Allowed, with limits

Copying trades between your own FTMO Futures accounts is allowed as long as each account follows every rule on its own. Copying anyone else's trades (signal services, master accounts, trade copiers) is banned, as are letting someone else trade your account and hedging across accounts.

"Copy trading across your own accounts is permitted, provided each account independently and fully complies with all applicable rules." Source
Account limit
No limit on Evaluations (each has its own subscription). Up to 3 Sim-Funded accounts at once, shared across Growth and Pro, with no cap on total capital. Multiple registrations are not allowed and accounts cannot be merged.
News trading
Allowed in every phase with no special news restrictions. FTMO's risk standards can flag trading that bunches around scheduled economic events in a way that doesn't match your usual trading.
Overnight and weekends
Not allowed. All positions and resting orders must be closed by 4:10 PM ET (or the earlier market close) every trading day, and anything left open is liquidated automatically. No weekend holding.
Other rules
  • Hedging or offsetting risk across accounts is banned, including accounts at other FTMO Group firms; opposite positions are allowed only within one account.
  • No new positions when price is within 2% of a contract's CME daily price limit.
  • Sim-Funded accounts with no trading for 30 calendar days in a row are closed. There is no inactivity rule on Live Funded accounts.
  • Trading very differently on the Sim-Funded account than in the Evaluation, or with sharply inconsistent position sizes, can be treated as a rule violation.
  • A Sim-Funded account cannot be reset; a hard breach means buying a new Evaluation.
  • Stop losses are not required.
  • Open to individuals only, age 18 and up. Not offered to residents of a long list of countries including Australia, China, Indonesia, Russia, Ukraine and Vietnam, or of Arkansas, Delaware, Louisiana, Montana and South Carolina in the US.
  • Trading while traveling and using a VPN or VPS are allowed if you don't live in a restricted country.
  • Level 1 market data is included; Level 2 (Depth of Market) data cannot be purchased on FTMO logins.
  • FTMO Futures is available in English only.
